Beginning Machine Embroidery
Learn the foundational skills and items needed to create beautiful machine embroidery. This class will go through the different stabilizers, fabrics, needles, design files, hooping and more. In session 1, you will create your own Stabilizer notebook. In Session 2, we will review Session 1 and work on 2 small projects to understand the basics and prepare you for the types of projects we do in 1st Sewing Center's Embroidery Club.

Due to the size of this project, we will be doing it over 3 club meetings.

Here is a way to bring some of the beauty of bugs inside your home without worrying about any bites. This month we are making Free Standing 3D summer bugs. You choose which summer bugs you want make and bring some bright colorful creatures to your home. Guaranteed to be easy to take care of without any mess.

Need a little extra space for a project? Wish you could sew with a friend, but don't have the space? Join 1st Sewing Center for Open Sew Thursdays - our Social Event where we open up our classroom for you to work on any project you want. Just bring your machine, your project, and friends and sew the afternoon away in comfort. A $5.00 fee will hold one of the ten available spots. Each participant is required to pay the $5 fee and register online.
