Beginning Quilting
Learn the foundational skills needed to start quilting. This is the ultimate beginners class that will teach you everything you need to know to jump into the quilting world. This class is held over 3 sessions and will teach you such things as Quilting Terminology, Needles, Quilting Fabrics, Cutting, Sewing a 1/4 inch seam, and much, much more. Each lesson will include hands on activities as well as "homework" so you continue using what you have learned at home. You sign up for all 3 sessions when you register for the class.
Cost: $225.00 (includes holding of space and teacher fees, other materials not included in fee)
Session 1: Saturday, March 1, 2025
Session 2: Saturday, March 22, 2025
Session 3: Saturday, April 12, 2025
Class Time: 10:15 am - 3:00 pm
Supply list will be provided 1-week prior to class.
Cancellations must be done within 3 days of the scheduled class or your class fee will be forfeited. If you do not show up to your registered class, your class fee will also be forfeited. Please call the store at (952) 884-1938 with any questions.

| Instructor Bio: | Rachel and Tiffany are returning instructors to 1st Sewing Center. They are good friends and spend a lot of their time discussing quilting and how to expand their quilt knowledge. Rachel has taught our Strip Quilt classes as well as specific quilt blocks. Tiffany has taught our beginning paper piecing and bag classes. |
