Beginning Machine Embroidery
Learn the foundational skills and items needed to create beautiful machine embroidery. This class will go through the different stabilizers, fabrics, needles, design files, hooping and more. In session 1, you will create your own Stabilizer notebook. In Session 2, we will review Session 1 and work on 2 small projects to understand the basics and prepare you for the types of projects we do 1 Sewing Center's Embroidery Club and Classes.
In order to take this course, you should own and understand your embroidery sewing machine. There is no requirement as to a specific brand or type of embroidery machine to own in order to take this class. The information provided in this course is foundational and agnostic to any specific brand of machine.
This class is a prerequisite before you can join the 1st Sewing Center Machine Embroidery Club or sign up for Embroidery Classes. This Class is offered once quarterly.
Cancellations must be done 3 days before any scheduled class/club or your class fee will be forfeited. If you do not show up to class, your class fee will also not be eligible for refund. Please call the store at (952) 884-1938 with any questions.

Instructor Bio: | The ragtag team of Maria and Carlos began a little over a year-ago. Between the two, they have over 50 years of teaching and doing embroidery. Maria loves the color black and has worked in the sewing industry for many years. Carlos runs his own small embroidery business, digitizes designs and has over 22 vintage and newer sewing machines. They think they are really funny, but you will have to decide that on your own. |
